Although our trainers will carefully tailor your workout while pushing you, this will be the basic format for your every day training routine. You can expect to be sore, tired and potentially exhausted after finishing just one of these very very intense workouts. However, sticking with it will ensure a marked improvement in your skills, cardio and as a by product of the hard training a noticeably better body inside and out. Please remember that drinking plenty of water as well as getting proper rest and nutrition must accompany this kind of intense physical exercise. Train, Fight and Win with us!

Fight Training

At Kickin’ It we are professional and serious about your fight training. Whether you are a first timer, or a veteran of the ring, we have the trainers with the skills necessary to take your strengths, as well as weaknesses, and make them into a winning combination.

Thru all of this not only will you get better, you will gain a greater amount of respect for your trainers, the sport of Muay Thai and Thailand overall. Fight training is very physically and mentally challenging but is necessary in order to take you to the next level. With the help of our trainers we will begin by building your confidence, identifying your weakness, working on them and in turn improving on your strengths also.

Fight training is seriously hard business and for that reason every day you will be expected to; Run before class, hit 5 rounds with your trainer, hit 5 rounds on the bag, clinch, spar, teep/knee the bag, do push ups, sit ups, chin ups etc every single day.

As a fighter you can expect our trainers to be harder on you overall but please don’t take this personally as it is only necessary to see you thru to your end goal of a 5 round full rules Muay Thai bout while in Thailand. Muay Thai as a ring sport can be quite dangerous and so it is our job to see to it that you have the right mental and physical tools necessary to stand the intense punishment of a real fight.

At Kickin’ It our trainers will be with you every step of the way beginning with daily training, to teaching you the Wai Kru, to seeing that you get to the stadium on fight night, to wrapping and taping your hands, to giving you the pre fight rub down, to telling you what to look out for during rounds and then finally there to congratulate you for winning when its all said and done. We take seriously your training and everything that goes along with it because we love what we do and it shows. Train, Fight and Win with us!

*For those of you who intend to fight please inform us when you arrive to the gym so that our trainers can get a better idea of where your level is in order to ensure proper match making and to help better prepare you for your Phuket, Thailand ring debut!
